The Jon Gruden era officially begins (again) Tuesday for the Oakland Raiders.
RaidersSnakepit.com’s Steve Corkran reported Friday morning that the Raiders will have a “splashy” press conference to announce the return of Chuckie.
Gruden coached the Raiders from 1998-2001. Former Oakland owner Al Davis traded Gruden to Tampa Bay in January 2002. Gruden and the Tampa Bay beat Oakland in its last Super Bowl a year later.
Now, Chuckie returns.
The return of Gruden coincides with the launching of RaidersSnakepit.com. You can read more about it here and here.
