After the 12-4 happenings of 2016, the Raiders looked loaded for the foreseeable future. But the inability to add impact help on defense and an alarming slump by many offensive players, the

Gruden likes using a true FB with experience. Richie and Crockett come to mind. Bring in a rookie and a veteran to go along with Olawale and let them compete for the job. TE Lee Smith could be brought back as a key blocker and special teamer at a fair price.

I do think Autry should get consideration for re-signing. He can play all the spots along the D line. Very versatile. Big questions on the D line. An above average DE opposite Mack is a big need. Edwards, Ward and Cowser have proven to be unproductive. Irvin is the best option but he has LB duties too. Many of the best D’s now have a good rotation keeping players fresh. A lot of work to do here.

I also think Mack had an undisclosed injury this year. He just did not seem as explosive and dominant.

The MLB has been an issue for years. Bowman made a huge difference. Drafting a MLB is a no brainer, but having Bowman to teach them could be just as important.

Gruden and RM should bring in plenty of DBs and let them compete too. Bring in between 6 and 10 players minimum.

Landry would be a huge get. Gruden would love that guy for sure. I don’t know if RM would pay him what he will command. Especially needing a deal with Mack.

Will Hood get a longer look at RB with or without Lynch returning. A draft pick and more UDFA’s with KR/PR ability, again more versatility.
