According to Pro Football Focus, Bowman was a top-5 performer for the entire Raiders 53 man roster. Imagine what he’d do when he gets in a training camp and pre-season. I’d unquestionably keep him. We can “get younger” at positions that need major immediate help. I’d be drop-dead shocked if the Raiders let him walk.
Good thought. He did play well when used appropriately. And, Gruden does have a penchant for using older, veteran linebackers. If the price is right, and Bowman is better than any free agent, it sure seems like a good fit for a team in need of leadership and experience.
He was good, not great. But I can see him coming back.
I would love for Bowman to stay and help teach both on and off the field. But I understand if he wants one last big deal. Its a business.
Either way our Raiders need a quality young MLB.
