Last week, we  looked at the reasons that point to the Oakland Raiders releasing receiver Michael Crabtree. The story, somewhat to my surprise, was met with some disappointment. It seems many fans want Crabtree kept around. I get it – he’s a starting-quality receiver. So, if Crabtree is jettisoned, the Raiders would have

I think Landry would be the best replacement.

I do think he would thrive in Grudens system and would instantly become Carrs go to guy.

I would listen to Olson closely about Watkins. He knows things we don’t about that player. He has all the ability in the world, but much like AC, he has to be more consistent. He has injury issues.

Robinson is coming off injury, always an issue. Will he sign an incentive laden deal or a bet on yourself contract like Crabtree did a couple years ago?

Just wishing here, if we get both Landry and Bell somehow, that would be a huge statement starting off the G2 (Gruden part 2) era.

It would also allow us to load up on D players in the draft.

Thanks, Nick. Spread the word, please. Once we reach enough subscribers, we’ll add another veteran Raiders writer. Then so on and so on, until we have built this bully in a manner that would make Hubert proud. Keep your feedback coming. More stuff being added to the site soon, by the way. Let us know if you have any suggestions.
