Well, McKenzie may hoard picks, but he surely hasn’t done well with his picks the last several years. Mack, Carr, Jackson and Cooper. Other than that, I’m unimpressed. So, maybe MCKenzie SHOULD trade some picks for Landry. Definitely not a 1st round pick for Landry, but other than that, a 2nd or 3rd with a 6th would be worth it, especially if you could sign Landry to a longer term contract as part of the deal. If’s he’s as good as the Raiders hope, then They should do a deal like this all day long. Right now he’s only guaranteed $16M on the franchise tag. So If he’d agree to a 3yr deal now with $30M guaranteed. Get of Crabtree and Roberts. Then and pick up a mid-round receiver in the draft and a cheap veteran free agent.

Keep Crab. Save Money. Spend on defense. Crabtree will thrive under Gruden. Paying big bucks for a possession receiver who averaged 8.8 yds/catch is a waste of money.

If Gruden wants Landry to fill a key starting spot in his O, go and get Landry if the price is right.

Agree to an extension prior to the trade being finalized.

Include Crab if the fins want him as part of the deal.
