    Bill or Steve:

How are the Eagles paying so much to keep their player AND import new ones? According to OverTheCap.com they had less than a million dollars in cap room as of this morning and now I see that they kept Nigel Bradham with a big contract that clearly takes them over the cap. How is it that these teams are picking up players and keeping their own and the Raiders can do nothing and are “strapped.” I don’t believe in free agency as a means to building a solid team, but you should be able to pick up one or two players for positions of need. I agree with Cork that the situation the Raiders are in reflects very poorly on Reggie as his failure to provide starting caliber players in the draft aside from 2014 has left the Raiders with few “cheap” controllable starters. I just don’t get where they are coming up with players to field a solid team and improve their horrendous defense. I see how the offense may improve with same the players by better coaching and scheme because there is actual talent on that side of the ball. However, there is little in the way of solid talent on the defensive side and I don’t think Guenther can “coach them up” into even a top 20 unit with what he has to work with. We haven’t even re-signed TJ Carrie!
I love Reggie’s overall cap management, but this is turning into what Packer fans have dealt with Ted Thompson all of these years.
I wonder if Gruden is friends with and respects Louis Riddick. That dude exudes intelligence and common sense. Could he replace Reggie if Gruden is not satisfied after this year?

If Dennard isn’t a free agent why is he in the poll on the website?

This is an even larger issue now, RM should have paid Carrie.

We should draft plenty of CBs this year.

I am glad we hired him because it looks like Ansley will have plenty of teaching to do.

We definitely need to get a vet corner In here but more importantly we have to get a 3 tech that can push the pocket. If we don’t have that it won’t matter who are dbs are defensive will be crap. We have to have more pass rush besides Mack and Irvin
