The NFL announced on its website the Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms with long snapper Andrew DePaola on Friday. Because specialists are people, too, let’s get to know this dude: Who is he: The Rutgers product played three seasons in Tampa Bay. He was cut by the Buccaneers in September. The Bears picked him
Sooooooo why did they dump Condo, a GREAT long snapper, and sign a guy for MORE money? I don’t get it….
Their salaries were almost identical, but yeah, I don’t get this or the Doug Martin signing. Condo was veteran Raider leadership. Gruden likes his veterans. Why? Young and cheap I can see, but this???
Condo is a great player and man on and off the field. You can never have to many of those guys.
I call BS on this one.
I have been saying it over and over again, I trust Gruden.
But this one stinks of something personal. What exactly, I have no freaking idea.
