Tom Cable’s Seattle Seahawks tenure was punctuated by struggles to find the right offensive line combination, while the team committed the lion’s share of its resources toward other positions. By comparison, he inherited a gold mine when he was hired by Raiders head coach Jon Gruden. Cable takes over an offensive line that returns three

Yeah, nothing is set in stone at all. That right tackle spot could be a problem yet again this year. One of the other linemen mentioned really needs to step up their game and become a legit right tackle, otherwise they’re getting paid for absolutely nothing and need to be cut.

I would not mind Q Nelson at all. He can play right and take over Penn’s job in due time. Probably the safest pick, gotta renew the Carr insurance.

Unless Cable gets a complete turn around out of Giacomini I don’t think he even makes the team.

Is the new staff high on anyone else we have. The last coaches were said to be happy with Sharpe. My guess is Ware will get time there too. Same goes for Alexander. The dark horse in this could be RFA Kirkland. When he was at Arkansas, his HC Bielema, said he had some of the best feet he had ever seen in a college player.

I do think we take another OL in the draft. The question is when.
