Which spots should the Raiders still be concerned that they haven’t upgraded enough for the 2018 season? Let’s take a gander: Tight end: I would like to see another receiving option behind Jared

I agree with you about the punter position. But, remember it took King a couple years to start to hone his skills.

What about offensive tackle? Uncertainty with Donald Penn plus we have two raw rookies vying to possibly start. That’s more than a worry…that could be a disaster.

I tire of the “its just a punter” routine. That is the exact thinking that prevented them from being included in the HOF for so long.

O, D, or ST makes no difference. It is rare that a player, at any position, comes in and dominates. Many players struggle for a couple years before becoming productive.

I am not giving anyone a pass. I have a tendency to judge players faster than I should at times. I think many of us do.

Pineiro, if he beats out Tavecchio, could be another struggle.

I know Lee Smith is not the most graceful TE, but maybe he gets a few more balls thrown his way this season. Even if it is just trying to keep the opposing D honest.

I want Bowman back too. The LB crew is not better by subtraction.

He entire DB section is a question for me. Our CBs have to prove themselves. Joseph needs to produce more turnovers and game changing plays. Same goes for whoever the opposite S turns out to be.

There are plenty of questions on both sides of the ball. I am excited to see what it all looks like on the field in real games.
