Recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament must be difficult enough for Raiders defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes. Now, imagine what it must be like for Vanderdoes as he has to tackle his rehab while wondering just where he fits in with the Raiders upon his return. A lot has changed since Vanderdoes suffered his injury
This is not his first injury either.
He admittedly gained weight and did not play well his final year in college.
That was part of the reason he last until the 3rd round too.
If he is healthy, he will get every chance to earn a spot in the DT rotation.
I seem to remember Vanderdoes saying, after the draft, he was out to prove he was the best DT in that class.
