Bill Williamson has been a professional sports journalist for 28 years. He has covered the NFL for 22 straight years. He has been covering the Oakland Raiders for the past nine years, including seven at ESPN.com.
I don’t no why, but I have a gut feeling that Arden Key is going to return to his 2016 form and that Irvin and others are going to keep him straight off the field. He just sounded sincere to me about wanting to play and help this team (i.e. stay out of trouble). From the photos I’ve seen from OTAs, he certainly *looks* the part . . . kinda reminds me of Aldon Smith (I know you said Justin Houston which is probably more apropos).
Hi Bill –
Kinda of a one-off question here:
Do you and the other Bay Area sports journalists like, Scott, Vic, Jerry, Tim, Ray and of course Steve, ever discuss what’s the plan for you folks in regards to covering the Raiders, when they move to Las Vegas? Do we assume that you folks will still continue cover the team as your focus even if they are out of the BA local market, and how will the Bay Area sports media outlets cover the Raiders going forward? ( I know several of you also cover other BA teams as well) – We have to assume the BA Media outlets will still continue to cover the Raiders but shift the amount of coverage? How do you guys feel when you get together and kinda look at the future? I love the podcast and the good work you guys do!! Keep on keeping on. Regards -Solomon
I’ll answer on a podcast.
