Khalil Mack isn’t the only NFL star who is in dicey situation with his team. Stars throughout the league having varying issues. Two of the more intriguing are Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. Thomas is staying away from the Seahawks’ minicamp because he wants a new deal.
Where would the cap space come from to acquire Thomas or Gronk?
I would estimate chance of trading for either player around 5%
Don’t disagree.
Jared Cook is about half of Gronks cap so he’s cut. Then, theres plenty of other ways we could come up with cap. Even restructuring Mack’s deal this year as well.
Gronk is a good player, but his health history would scare me. Also, when the Pats let a player go, it is usually because their play is declining.
