As we celebrate our country’s 242nd birthday today with BBQ, beer and fireworks, we’d be remiss if we didn’t recognize the most important birthday in the history of the Oakland Raiders. Al Davis was born on July 4, 1929. The great Al died on October 8, 2011, at the age of 82. The longtime owner

    Good catch, Bill. I also remember Mr. Davis’ birthday as my brother is also born-on-the-4th-of-July 🙂
