Gruden is honest. Whatever he’s saying to the media about players, I hope he says it to them personally (which I think is the case)
Gruden reminds me of Parcells, in terms of his directness and use of the media to speak to his team. Some are put off by that style. Whatever works.
If you cant do it on the practice field why would Gruden figure you can do it in games that count?
Practice matters. Reps matter. Production matters.
