Derek Carr told reporters recently that he is impressed by Bryant’s work ethic in practice. “Just his level from where he got here to where he is now, he’s really pick it up, he has. You can definitely tell that he has a sense of urgency for him to pick things up and learn them,”

    So………another Randy Moss.

If things don’t go his way, he just says bleep it, bleep the 52 other men on the team.

I do have high expectations for Bryant. Have said so from the start.

I think the change of scenery, having a coach who wants to see him succeed and was willing to pay a 3rd rounder for him was just what he needed.

I have to think that would make Bryant feel very wanted. As opposed to what he may have been feeling on his previous team.

If he does nothing with it, that is completely on him.

Sorry, but this article was rife with so many grammar and sentence structure errors that I lost count. Do we have an editor? I mean, really…anyone do a read through before pressing submit? This is not that hard. It’s basic English….something expected of a reporter who’s job it is to write articles. This has got to be corrected if this site is going to survive. Some how Cork seems to manage to write well. I hope Bill and Will get this figured out. Find a high school intern who’s good at grammar and turn ‘em loose.

I understand your point, though, I’d personally soften it… a lot. And, why count someone else’s grammar and spelling errors; wouldn’t that make reading an article less fun?

Honestly, copyediting one’s own work is easier than some may think. Having a copy editor sounds smart, but depends on resources.

I may have stumbled for a second a few times reading one of Bill’s articles, yet, as a reader was always quickly back in his flow. My motivation for reading the Raider articles is for content, and for me, both Bill & Cork deliver. Beat reporting is quick/time relevant and continuous, and they are good at that. If Bill cleans up his spelling and grammar some, I’d enjoy that. If he doesn’t, I’m still going to enjoy his stuff …it’s good.

When I look for spelling and grammar skills (which I don’t rate very high in word crafting) I go to the spelling and grammar pros for help. Unfortunately I do that a lot. 🙂

Matt, I need some copyediting too, LOL! I missed that Will wrote this article, as I just dove into reading and enjoying it. Okay, so Cork, Bill & Will deliver, IMHO.
