    Additional learnings-

Marquel Lee may step up and solidify the MLB spot
Coaching matters- Connor Cook looks improved, along with Calhoun. Defense as a whole looks better
Donald Penn is a team guy. Kudos to him for trying RT

Also Nick Nelson is a nice surprise.

I was all for the Bryant deal, because they still got who they wanted at that point of the draft when they traded down, and basically got a free pick to take a flyer on. Sort like found money…so they went all in on The White Tiger.

But so far, Bryant seems like he’s a mess. Not exactly how you want to impress your new boss at a new job. Sheesh.

It’s hard to believe the Raiders would cut Bryant, because they’d have major egg on their face and would be the laughing stock of the league. They’d look like effing fools. If Bryant keeps this drama shit going and he’s just too much of a headache for the team (pun intended), the Raiders front office would have to have the biggest balls ever to cut him.

I hope it works out with Bryant, but it doesn’t feel right to me. This could be a colossal eff up.

Penn sure surprised me with his presser about playing RT because he would rather win. Easy to think he was a money grubber and in it just for himself after last year’s holdout and this year’s angry call to Gruden after the Raiders drafted Miller. If the move works out and Miller is the LT of now, the O-Line will be dang good this year!!

Obi is a HUGE disappointment. Gotta feel sorry for him because he is injured, but the kid needs to put in the work and play.

I also liked the Bryant trade at the time. I thought a change of scenery would do him some good. I may have been wrong. Maybe he’s a gamer, who knows.

It’s gonna take more than a completion on a quick out to Jordy to convince me Carr has mastered this offense. That throw to Bryant was bad on several levels. I don’t want to see a skittish Carr in the pocket. I want to see ‘15 Carr back there. We need Mack back before week 1 period. The dline play looks encouraging. I think we might have a sleeper in Nelson. Haven’t heard much news about vanderdoes recently.

Plenty of jobs still up for grabs.

Preseason means a lot to the players not assured of a roster spot.

O, D, STs, however you get on the field, make the coaches take notice for the right reasons.

Still hoping Bryant becomes the WR Gruden thought he was getting.

If Warren keeps producing, it could be Lynch, Richard and Warren at RB.
