It would be nice to have a little more clarity on the back end.

If Conley and Melvin stay healthy, they start at CB.

Worley likely the nickel, or in nickel packages.

Nelson as a dime or to fill in where needed.

Depending on how many CBs we keep, Wright and Hall possible backups?

Is Hamilton or Mitchel in the mix?

There are plenty of S to pick through.

Joseph, Harris, Melifonwu, Nelson, Gilchrist, Luani as well as a few others.

Not one player has really staked a starting job.

Brining in Iloka would be a smart move.

He has as good a chance as any to earn a starting job, even this far into preseason.

Has anyone mentioned we need to get Mack signed?

Bring in Iloka, given his history with Guenther. The secondary needs help and I’m all for the additional infusion of talent.

Iloka doesn’t seem like a rockstar but a really solid piece for that group that would perform at an average to above level who does not have a track record of health issues. I’d take it!

Younger than Reggie Nelson, experienced in Guenther’s defense and he.makes it onto the field – unlike Obi! What’s not to like?
Cutting Reggie Nelson and Giacomini should cover most of the wages…..
