Gruden loves his WR’s to be able to play any WR position, which creates more complexity for the defense to process.

It can’t be a question of talent with Bryant. Is it work ethic then? I wonder if he’s studying hard enough, to ensure he understands each WR position?

If Bryant has not earned that 3rd WR spot, why was he held out of the game against the Rams?

He should have been out there playing. Its pretty simple if you asked me.

I expected a lot more of Bryant.

He may be pushing Bryant towards being the best he can be. I do remember Terrell Davis leaving the super bowl with a migraine; so I assume they can be debilitating. I can’t imagine a coach like Gruden being okay with that, given his need to get ready for the season.

I think it’s safe to assume Johnny (Lee Higgins) Holton is not making the roster. And I think, struggles aside, Bryant is a lock to make the team and will be given every opportunity to be the #3. Gruden will keep pushing, but he’s not throwing away that 3rd round pick, just like he’s not going to cut Obi.
