    Ken Norton Jr praised Cowser as being one of the smartest guys he’s ever coached.

    Players like Cowser are valuable for their smarts and ability to play multiple positions, including Special teams. I think he might make the roster.

    If the new staff does believe he can be a key backup at OLB, ILB and DE along with playing STs, it will be damn tough to cut him.
