Too much of Gruden’s success seems to be riding on the health of Carr which has been an issue the last two seasons. Rookie Left Tackle and a Right Tackle who was a career Left Tackle do not bode well for the health of Carr. Hopefully, it works out.

AJ McCarron might be an upgrade over Manuel. But I don’t want see him play.

Carr has to stay healthy or season will implode

McCarron is better than either Cook or Manuel.

He needs to learn the playbook.

I agree, I hope he does not need to play at any point this season.

But I feel a lot better with him as the backup compared to Cook or Manuel.
