Your Oakland Raiders are an embarrassment this year, but they didn’t embarrass themselves Sunday. The Raiders fought and hung around all game. They probably never had a real shot to beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but the Raiders made the Chiefs work for their 40-33, victory. Let’s recap: What it means: The Raiders

    Finding a player to cover Kelce, and other top TEs, is a must going forward.

    If Gruden had any doubts, we need a bell cow that can hang onto the ball.

    Cook needs to be re-signed. One of the few. Why was Carrier given that contract and why is he still on the team?

    Punter. Be patient my ass.

    If this is a sign of things to come, it promotes some optimism, hopefully Carr is this productive again next week. Even more production could get a win or two by the end of the season.

    The D is still a huge work in progress with many jobs still up for grabs.

    I wrote early in the day, yesterday, that it appeared kc was going to blow us out because the O could not stay on the field and the D could not get off of it. Give credit to our Raiders, they did all they could to win that game. Eliminating those turnovers could have gotten us a win.
