Oddsmakers listed the Bengals as the favorite to beat the Raiders on Sunday. It’s important to note that the betting line has noting to do with who oddsmakers think is going to win the game, and everything to do with getting bettors to place money evenly on both teams. In terms of where the teams

Our Raiders will likely have to win with 2 OGs we recently signed. Green at LG and Good at RG. That is the report of how practice looked today.

It really makes me wonder if Sharpe, Kirkland and Murray are worth a tinkers damn? Sharpe and Kirkland especially. They cant be trusted to play over guys just brought in the past couple weeks?

If our Raiders come up with a win Sunday on the road in an early start, it will prove the team is 100% behind Gruden and those games early in the season, where it appeared our Raiders did not care about winning, were just growing pains.

If Gruden gets this team going in the final few games an wins more games, I cant wait until next year when hopefully we will have better talent on this team.

Expectations will be sky high, at least for me they will be.

Even without both of our guards, and with 2 turnstile OTs?

Being optimistic for a win has me concerned.

Just like before the 49er game…

I will be cautiously optimistic. Cork, what do you think about Nick Nelson? He reminds me of DJ Hayden. Not terrible coverage, but does not get his head around when the pass is thrown. Your thoughs?

Your old player references are always gold, Cork. Please god, no Stuart Schweigert! Overall though it does feel a little strange that we expect to win, which really shows the sad state we have been exposed to here in Raider Nation. The Bengals are wounded, and also have what should be a lame-duck coaching staff – this game is not only winnable, it needs to be done decisively. No excuses here, losing to the Bengals here sets us back to worst team in the league levels, and recent weeks seem to indicate we moved past that. I’m cautiously excited.
