Jacobs AND Abram will need to adjust their playing styles, otherwise they’ll be watching more than playing. But man, sure is fun to watch these young guys go all out!

Great call on Abram, too, Matt. Mentioned that in a pre-draft scouting report that Abram tends to sacrifice his body at will in exchange for making a big hit. He, too, is going to have to learn how to pick and choose his spots when to unload. Keep the great feedback coming.

I concur with Matt, as a fun, love seeing Jacobs being “tough” and taking it to the defenders. But, he needs to be more prudent about when and how he does so in order to not get hurt. He will get plenty banged up without those extra hits just by virtue of his position.

He is a rookie and will learn to care for his body.

The extra yard, on most runs, is not worth a season long/ending injury.

I love his toughness, getting the shot in the shoulder and coming back to be productive for his team.

I am sure he sees guys like Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson, RBs who can run violently when a big first down or TD is needed, who also take care of their bodies to have a long and productive career.

Gruden will have to spot Jacobs more with Washington to ease Jacobs burden.

Jacobs is a beast and has proven to be tough so far, will see what happens.
