Started the season with a fair amount of depth in the secondary. Who would have thought it wouldn’t be enough?

Its a tough situation for our Raiders at the moment.

Depth at LB has been an issue all year, now our DBs are dripping like flies.

Hopefully Johnson is a full go this week and Swearinger gets familiar with our D quickly.

This is a game our Raiders should expect to win even with all the injuries. Quality teams win games when they are down a player or two. No team is completely healthy this time of year in the nfl.

Carr and the O is expected to put up 24+ points per game. Getting turnovers and a score on either D or STs would be a huge bonus, just like last Thursday.

This is where strength and conditioning comes into play, to help minimize the injuries in season. It may help if the NFL would consider expanding the roster. If the league wants an 18-game season, it only makes sense to have larger rosters and more players active on game-day.

Cork – Like the new format.

Thank you, David. And Ghost. Actually, thank you to everyone. The new design is just the start of an expansion of presentation, coverage and devotion to you guys. So, again, thank you for your loyalty, patronage and support. It means the world to me. — Cork

Cork – I really like the new format. Very snazzy!

Regarding injuries, those on the defensive side are the most problematic given issues on that side of the ball already. Even if some of those players are signed (ex. Snead, Whitehead), it’s dubious whether they can contribute substantially.
