The Raiders wasted precious little time making a splash in acquiring veteran players last season, as head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock were hell-bent upon landing a handful of players that they had targeted from early on. That’s how the Raiders ended up with wide receiver Antonio Brown via trade and offensive

Joe Schobert at LB would be a good pickup. I like the idea of Corey Littleton.

Raiders need to avoid FAs north of age 30.

Defense should be the focus for free agency and adding depth at all positions.

I have the same question about Van Noy that Cork has about Ward. Raiders have a lot of their own FAs to evaluate. I’d like to see many of them come back, if for no other reason, to start building continuity with the roster. Also, with the move to Vegas, I think that attracting FAs will be easier–so maybe the team does not need to pay top dollar like they used to and that will give the team more flexibility.

Littleton would be one that I would like to see join the Raiders. In the AFC West, the LB has to be able to cover very good (and an elite) TEs.

Nevin Lawson resigned for one year.

Ghost is right that Joe Schobert would be a good pickup at LB. He led the AFC in tackles during the season, and is on the south side of 30.
