    $13M for a player like Beasley averaging 6 sacks the past 3 seasons? Didn’t Mayowa do just as well for a fraction of the cost? I’m skeptical.

    I’d rather go after Chris Jones. He collapses the pocket and not only gets sacks, but he tips a lot of passes and he’s great against the run. If Beasley comes at a discounted rate, so be it, but I wouldn’t pay him top dollar. He’s smallish and has been playing on carpet. His sack numbers should have been better playing on the carpet in ATL. His game is speed around the edge
