That’s what good teams do: they find talented players in untenable situations, make their pitch and cash in. Gruden’s list

I’m still not sure on good Dunbar is. Is he a Pro Bowler? Is he a shut down corner?

Raiders have to be cautious about taking malcontents from other team. I don’t need to list off players they’ve traded for and the player didn’t work out for the Raiders.

In addition, Darius Slay, with the Lions, wants a new contract. Lions may trade him At least he’s a 3x All Pro. Dunbar doesn’t have those credentials.

Dunbar blossomed this season, his first real one as a full-time starter. That’s why the Raiders might be able to buy low, as it were. Acquiring Slay would put the Raiders on the hook for a big-time contract. I don’t see that happening.

We have three picks in the third round, don’t we? 80-81 & 92.

As far as the player goes, Ghost makes great points. Would love to see Slay in S&B.

However getting Slay would likely mean parting with pick #19 AND giving him a huge contract.

Sorry, no-can-do. You traded all your picks to move up and get that QB. Will just have to be happy with the rest of the team as is. Add sarcasm here for effect.
