With Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock just about out of salary-cap space and the top-tier free agents in short supply, the next chance at addressing the Raiders’ remaining needs comes in the draft. Gruden and Mayock were quite active the past week, having signed or re-signed 15 players. Yet, two glaring needs have yet to

I think Jeudy fits better with our system. That’s not saying that Lamb wouldn’t flourish as well. Jeudy just seems to have a bit more twitch speed than Lamb. Either receiver would be a welcome addition to the Silver & Black. Do we take a chance a selecting a CB at 12 hoping the either Jeudy or Lamb will be there at 19? We will soon find out!

Agreed with Jeudy. As for taking a gamble on a cornerback at No. 12, only if Jeff Okudah falls that far, for whatever reason. That’s unlikely, so it’s receiver at No. 12 and cornerback at No. 19.

Gruden makes Al Davis proud and takes Ruggs at 12. Ruggs can stretch the field and CATCH the ball unlike back when DHB was taken.

I can also see us taking a top S at 19, though CB or LB is likely the pick. I know we picked up 2 LBs, but I am not sure we pass one at 19 or later.

I think Mayock desires to trade back at 19, getting extra picks. This could be a boon for another team coveting a player and trading up to get them at 19 without necessarily giving up the farm to get there, knowing we want to trade back for extra picks.

I like Ruggs alot. World class speed, had very few drops and is willing to go across the middle.

After Okudah, most believe the second rated corner is Henderson. However, he was not a willing tackler at Florida. Not sure if the coaching staff will like that. After Henderson, there’s mixed opinion on whom the next best corner is.

Jeudy would be a perfect fit , why are we allowing him and Ruggs to get away, damn! To be the contenders we are , we have to have competitive players

Yes sir…WE NEED RUGGS III !!!! we tried all the descent speed now it’s time to get some True speed. Super AL wanted nothing but SPEED..WHY NOT CONTINUE HIS LEGACY AND HONOR HIM WITH THAT!

So, you prefer Henry Ruggs III over Jerry Jeudy? That puts you in the minority but that doesn’t make you wrong. Ruggs also has the ability to return kicks, which is a huge bonus. Why not both Jeudy and Ruggs, assuming both are available when the Raiders pick?

I said that exact thing months ago. My thought was that Gruden might not be able to help himself if the opportunity arises to get Ruggs and Jeudy.
