The Las Vegas Raiders surely love them some Clemson Tigers and guards, apparently. Head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock stocked offensive line boss Tom Cable’s cabinet with another powerful and mauling guard with the selection of John Simpson in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. At 6-foot-4 and 321 pounds,
Simpson is Jackson or Inconito’s replacement.
Jackson due to this contract
or
Incognito due to age
My guess is that Jackson is gone by training camp (whenever that is). Incognito is up in age. I don’t think he’ll last all 16 games due to injury.
Yeah, the smart money says, Jackson is gone within the next month, or after this season, with Denzelle Good warming up the spot for Simpson, who is being groomed as the long-term option at right guard for now.
