Lamarcus Joyner as the free safety. Johnathan Abram as the strong safety. That’s the best starting tandem on the back end of Paul Guenther’s Las Vegas Raiders defense. Guenther’s scheme calls for physical defensive backs who are as sure tacklers as they are cover guys. Joyner and Abram at safety are all that and then
A lot hinges on Robertson‘s ability to hold down the slot corner. If he can do so, Joyner can play safety.
The teams can can expedite their teams ability to translate virtual learning to on field knowledge and productivity will be at an advantage.
Hope Raiders rookies can make that leap.
Abram and Randall will likely be the starters on paper to start out.
I think Joyner could find himself as a backup at N and S very quickly. He has been a bust thus far imo.
