Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock have their salary-cap situation in order, with little to worry about in the near and distant future. That doesn’t mean there aren’t players with targets on their silver-and-black jerseys. As a result of two questionable free-agent signings — based off what we saw last season

Jackson’s $9.6 million salary for this season reportedly becomes guaranteed this upcoming Monday, June 1. There is no dead salary-cap money involved if Jackson is cut. Even money that he stays. Due to pandemic, I think Jackson might be retained given his experience in the system.

I think Joyner is gone after this season, as well as Williams.

And the big question is whether Carr is retained after this season. Yet we have nearly a year to discuss that ad nauseam, dependent on Carr’s performance.

I do think Williams has a chance to stay if he ball out this season. If Ruggs has the impact expected that should open up the rest of the O, helping Williams and others. Imagine more production from Jacobs and Waller!

I was never happy with Joyner. As soon as Gruden starting comparing him to Barber from tampa it immediately had me question the move. I dont believe there is any way Joyner stays unless he retains his job, which is doubful at this point with Robertson, and plays like a madman with huge production. I just dont see it.
