It became the foundation for the players to use in building confidence toward snaring the franchise’s only playoff appearance since 2002. This year’s Raiders team has an opportunity to kick off its season in similar

No team is a guaranteed win, especially for a team like the Raiders who have only 1 winning season since 2002.

Yet, Panthers are certainly rebuilding and Raiders have to win these type of games. Need to beat the teams you’re supposed to beat. Schedule for Raiders is among the most challenging in the NFL, given they are in the AFC West.

    No given.

Carolina will want that game bad. New coach, new owner and all that.

Ghost is on it as usual, must win the games you are expected to win.

    10-6 minimum.

Also, have to keep in mind that teams change from year to year and in season. Those that start like a bat outta hell fade, those who start off slow pick up steam. Then, those teams last year that found success may not be as successful and vice versa. The Raiders are a prime example: 2016 12-4, 2017 6-10, then they played pretty well at the beginning of last season and then fell flat on their face.

Can’t overlook any team, especially if you are the Raiders.
