Were Al Davis still alive, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden might not be back for a third season this time around. In fact, it was touch and go in that regard. Yet, it was in Gruden’s third season that the Raiders took full flight in his first tenure. Davis in 1999 was on the verge
Darrell Russell, so much talent there that was wasted.
10-6, thats my expectation. Playoffs this season. The O scores a ton of points. The D surrenders far less. The STs ranks among the best in the league.
As many of us have said, there are no more excuses.
Raiders have to continue to improve, and that has to translate into wins. Pressure is off Gruden for potentially losing his job due to 10 year contract, but pressure is certainly on players (esp Carr).
Jon Ritchie?
