Sounds like a smart move for depth and competition. I don’t watch many Lions games so what is his blocking like? Can’t have too many backs to cover for injury….
I see we have also signed Kyle Emmanuel who has unretired…. must be some very worried players in the LB room who might hope to be in the shake up – Morrow and Wilbur?
Wouldn’t it have been easier and cheaper to keep DeWash? It was my impression that the team let DeWash go because he and Richard were too similar?
We know DeWash was pretty much what we would expect moving foward. If Mayock argued there are many others than can do the same thing and cheaper, why not go that route?
Is Riddick cheaper that Washington? I would have thought the opposite since Washington was still on his rookie deal. Maybe I am wrong?
Also, just a thought, why aren’t Jacobs, Richard, and Bowden enough for pass-catching RBs? How many of those do you need on a roster?
