Raiders head coach Jon Gruden and his staff got a jump on paring the team’s roster from 80 to 53 by purging six players earlier this week. The remaining moves are slated to be completed by Saturday afternoon. With that in mind, here’s a look at the 21 players most likely to be cut: On

    Doss might be stashed on the practice squad.

    Brandon Parker has been horrible as a tackle. Can’t seem him as even a viable backup.

      Same was the case for Sharpe. At least they got some trade value for him. Perhaps the Raiders can find some value for him as well. Or, he can be kept on the PS as a reserve guy.

    Cork, do you have any additional insight regarding Mariota? He did some good things, but his passing was shaky according to separate reports from camp. One story said Mariota is a sub-par practice player but come game day, he plays well … much like Tim Tebow was in Denver. I would say keep Mariota, have a set package/situations for him. I do consider him as a better quality backup to DC.
