No one questions the toughness, effectiveness and willingness of Raiders running back Josh Jacobs. When it comes to Jacobs’ durability, head coach Jon Gruden would be wise to question whether he’s relying upon his lead back a tad too much. Through two games, Jacobs has averaged 29.5 touches. That’s a near 50 percent increase over
Didn’t Gruden run his RB in Tampa into the ground, too? While it is nice to have Jacobs available and he certainly changes the complexion of the game, I’d prefer to see a better rotation from Gruden.
Not sure Josh can hold up to being a every down back like the top running backs in the league.
Jacobs’ carries need to be brought down. He isn’t going to last at this pace.
