Josh Allen has been fanning the hammer for the streaking and undefeated Buffalo Bills as he’s thrown for four touchdowns in his last two games. Not the best of news for the Las Vegas Raiders defense this Sunday.  Paul Guenther’s unit is mending from being dissected, worn down, and eventually gored by the New England

Al Davis, as much as he was criticized late in his career, was right about his core defensive philosophy: the front four has to be able to pressure the QB without the help of a blitz. He also believed in stifling man to man defense.

These principles are still very much valid. In order to win tomorrow, secondary must make Allen hesitate just enough for front 4 to get some pressure on Allen.

Watch for this tomorrow and rest of the season. If Raiders can’t do so, its going to be a long day tomorrow and rest of the season.

Not sure what “fanning the hammer” means, but it sounds like the Raiders will need to play better than they did last week. I’d love to see the Defense play a whole game like they did the first half of the NE game.

Need to contain Josh Allen and put pressure on him. Can’t let him extend plays. “The QB must go down and must go down hard.”
