The Raiders season was virtually over after that Atlanta fiasco. Not mathematically but realistically. Next year country….one day Carr will start a playoff game. Maybe??

Game against the Chargers starts so predictably. Raiders 3 and out trying to set the run, Chargers effortlessly score behind a rookie who is 6 for 6…..

Yet again, a short first and goal leads to only a field goal as our massively paid line can’t push the D out of the way on obvious running plays…..
Carr looks to be done with a muscle pull on a third down run that was going nowhere.
Let’s see Mariota in a Raider uniform: next man up – would be nice if the D could give him the ball but should assume he will start from the 25 after the next Charger score.
    We look like a joke….

And then Mariota makes that throw to Waller for a beauty: Andy, you know nothing – shut up and let the guys play!

Worley showing why we let him go in the first place:
Just when you think the D can’t be any worse, we bring back rubbish from the past to make you see it can be done. Has there ever been a 3rd down defense more inept than ours?
From the front to the back, the D is a disgrace to the uniform – don’t seem to understand assignments, angles, calls or any thing at all… season is done and it’s time to rebuild again.

So this stream of consciousness stuff continues: our D holds on 3rd and short while it can’t on 15 yards to go? We draw level behind Mariota, who looks like a QB who can really run? Great block Ingold….

Getting into the groove on our coaching and game management: we just called a TO as we only had 10 defenders on the field for first and goal from the one. Chargers ran in on the next play against 11. Why waste the TO?

And again, first and goal from the five and we can’t get in? Over to the D … oh well….

And the Chargers punch it in for the winning score.
Thanks Coach Gruden for another year of non play off bullshit. Hope you’re enjoying your ten year $100 million deal while Raider fans around the world endure the same old shit.
      This is your team, Gruden.
Merry Christmas and thanks for nothing.
