We need to start seeing some salary cap wizardry from the brains trust this off-season. There are big cost, low production players – Collins, Joyner, Brown, Williams, Jackson, Witten to name a few- who need to be cut.
Much as I like Incognito, i think we need to move on and we don’t want to overspend on Agholor – if he is our deep threat, why draft Ruggs?
In terms of player trades, we should trade one of our top two QBs – both have value – and listen to anybody interested in Abram, Ferrell, Lawson or Key. Anything to free up cap space and bring draft picks for the D and a new OT to replace Brown.
We should look to trade down to pick up more picks in lower round 1 and 2/3 to help the defense but that does rely on a huge improvement in our drafting high picks.
Does this sound like another rebuild? Yes – because poor high round drafting and FA pick ups mean we need it once again.
    Good luck Gus.
